Scuderia Ferrari HP redesigned its mobile app with the help of IBM’s watsonx AI, offering Formula 1 fans a more immersive and data-driven experience of every Grand Prix.

The updated app introduces a suite of new features such as instant post-race summaries with driver insights and notes from the Ferrari pit wall, interactive fan polls, and data visualizations. .

“This app is about bringing all our fans closer to the heart of the racing world of Ferrari,” said Lorenzo Giorgetti, Chief Racing Revenue Officer at Ferrari, in a press release today, May 2.

“With IBM’s cutting-edge AI technology and our shared commitment to innovation and excellence, we are creating a digital experience worthy of the Ferrari name,” the Ferrari executive added.

Alongside AI-driven content, the app introduces “Racing Insights,” a new feature that turns race data into digestible visualizations.

Fans can now explore everything from tire strategies and weather conditions to telemetry and session results.

Historic comparisons are also made available in the app, drawing parallels between key moments in 2025 and Ferrari milestones from past decades.

Moreover, IBM and Ferrari confirmed that more features are expected to rollout throughout 2025. Both companies aim to create  a 24/7, year-round engagement platform for fans worldwide.

“IBM and Ferrari are bound by a shared commitment to progress, innovation and excellence,” IBM senior vice president of marketing and communications Jonathan Adashek said in the same press release.

The all-new Ferrari mobile app is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
