A mission-critical tech firm offers affordable packages, available either as a one-time perpetual license or a subscription-based service, to help LGUs improve disaster readiness and response in the Philippines.

At a recent presentation, AGN Networks Solutions Inc., led by president and CEO Carlo Grant Yu, said its mission-critical systems are now within reach of LGUs, including those in remote provinces that often face the brunt of typhoons and storms.

“If they cannot afford a perpetual license, we can also provide our system as a service,” Yu told PhilSTAR Tech during the sidelines of their AI solutions launch event held August 13 at the Astoria Plaza in Ortigas, Pasig City.

He added that training for officers is bundled with the packages to ensure the solutions are effective on the ground.

Among the technologies offered is AIRA Track, a facial recognition and tracking platform that can cut investigation times by up to 70%.

Complementing this is ARVAS, a self-learning video management system that detects fire, smoke, loitering, or falls within weeks of deployment.

The company also introduced Mobicam, a mobile surveillance unit designed for rapid deployment during typhoons, evacuations, or large public events where permanent CCTV systems are unavailable.

On the cybersecurity front, AGN is offering Invisiron, a stealth defense system that operates without an IP address, making it invisible to attackers.

This invisible layer of protection is designed to safeguard disaster-response communications and sensitive government data from cyber threats.

To ensure uninterrupted operations when power grids fail, the company provides the EFOY methanol fuel cell, capable of running for up to three months on a single 10-liter tank.

Unlike diesel generators, it offers a cleaner and quieter alternative for prolonged outages during storms.

“We should adapt the now, which is the AI era. So, ‘yun ‘yung mga binibigay namin na weapon sa kanila para hindi sila mahirapan sa buhay nila,” Yu said.
