Titos and titas, our childhood is back: Sesame Street is coming to YouTube in 2026!

Raise your hand if you were a Sesame Street baby!

For so many of us Titos and Titas of Manila, our first “barkada” wasn’t from school or the neighborhood. It was Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Grover, and the rest of the gang from Sesame Street.

Remember rushing to the TV for the opening song? Or counting along with The Count (“Ah-ah-ah!”) like it was the best math class ever? How about Ernie and his iconic “Rubber Duckie” jam? Yup, those were the days when learning ABCs and 123s was actually fun, and Sesame Street was basically our first “teacher.”

Here’s the big news: Starting January 2026, Sesame Street is moving into its biggest home yet—YouTube!

The Sesame Street library is coming online with hundreds of full episodes, making it the largest digital collection of the show to date. That means all the classic lessons, laughter, and life skills are just a click away.

For today’s parents, it’s the perfect chance to share the same childhood magic with your kids. And for us Titos and Titas? It’s the ultimate nostalgia trip because sometimes, we all need a reminder of the simpler days when the biggest problem was Cookie Monster eating all the cookies.

So mark your calendars. Come January, when life feels a little too grown-up, you know where to go. Just head to YouTube and ask yourself the most important question of all time:

“Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?”
