Good things come in two’s: Maya lets two friends win one million pesos each

Growing up, I was taught that if generosity was a cup, it then should always have to overflow. Symbolic, but there’s truth to it – that good things are best experienced when shared. And it being the holidays, we’ve hyperfocused on the act of generosity.

This focus on sharing good fortune is exactly what Maya is banking on with its massive Twinyonaryo campaign. Maya is challenging users to bring a friend into the fold for a chance to win one million pesos—for themselves and their preferred bestie. The core question Maya is asking is simple: “Kaninong buhay ang babaguhin mo ngayong pasko?” (Whose life will you change this Christmas?) The campaign is running from November 12, 2025, to January 15, 2026, making it a two-month sprint to financial freedom.

So, how does one even begin to compete for the chance to become a Twinyonaryo? It boils down to a fun combination of spending, borrowing, and recruiting.

For every P1,000 spent using Maya on transactions like shopping, dining, bills, or load, users earn one raffle entry. Maya has generously confirmed that all transactions count—there are no merchant restrictions here. But for those looking to dramatically boost their chances, utilizing Maya Easy Credit instantly earns five times the number of raffle entries.

The most exciting and crucial part of the campaign, however, lies in the referrals. When users refer a friend using their @username, they score 10 extra raffle entries for each successful referral. And here’s the game-changer: that referred friend also gets a shot at winning the one million peso prize. This means the more you spend and the more friends you refer to, the higher the chances of both of you winning one million each.

But Maya isn’t just about the numbers; it’s about the social spectacle! To amplify the holiday cheer, Maya is encouraging users to post their quirkiest, most hilarious “twinning outfits” with their friend, sibling, or family member. Participants must flex their Maya card or app in the photo or video, keep the style fun and confident, and mention how they typically spend during the holidays (shopping, gift-hunting, splitting bills).

The goal is to go all out with that holiday style! Just be sure to tag the friend or family member you’re teaming up with for the prize and tag @mayaiseverything on the post.

This campaign is the definition of a win-win: smart spending earns entries, and sharing the Maya love with a bestie could make both of you instant millionaires. Get spending, get twinning, and get ready to be a Twinyonaryo!
