As mobile games continue to evolve, many gamers have gotten creative with how they play. From choosing their preferred controls to getting accessories for better gameplay, their fun and competitive spirit can’t be unmatched. Oftentimes, they look for a smartphone that’s powerful enough to handle their favorite games’ graphics, while also keeping up with the demands of daily life.

Avid mobile gamers have probably seen everything from stronger processors to built-in cooling systems on modern smartphones. But Infinix has taken it to the next level with the Infinix GT Series’ GT Trigger, the first-ever gaming phone series to have capacitive shoulder buttons that bring console-level gameplay.

Now, with the new Infinix GT 30, everyone can be a gaming master in MOBAs and FPS games with the GT Trigger in their arsenal. At the same time, they can level up their everyday smartphone use with the feature.

Seamless actions in games and beyond

The GT Trigger is literally a game-changer for fans of games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), ROV (Realm of Valor), and HOK (Honor of Kings). Players can easily assign key abilities or spells to the shoulder buttons, letting them cast skills instantly without moving their thumb from the movement controls. This crucial boost in reaction time can mean the difference between landing the game-winning ultimate or getting caught up in an intense teamfight.

In high-stakes shooters like Delta Force, PUBG Mobile (PUBGM), Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), FreeFire, and Standoff 2, the GT Trigger can transform players’ control scheme. Mapping actions like Shoot or Scope to the shoulder triggers enables them to maximize their hand movement without missing a beat. This allows for superior multitasking, letting them aim and shoot simultaneously with minimal delay.

All these actions are possible with the GT Trigger’s highly responsive 520Hz low-latency touch input. Players are able to make precise movements to secure kills, helping them climb up the ranks to become the gaming masters they’re meant to be.

Beyond the gaming arena, the GT Trigger transforms into a versatile shortcut tool for everyday smartphone use. Its quick and responsive design makes daily tasks more convenient and faster. For example, when using the camera, users can simply use a single-tap to snap a photo or double-tap to fire off continuous shots. It can also be customized for rapid access to system functions like toggling flash and silent mode, or as a shortcut to quickly open one’s favorite social media apps.

The GT Trigger also works with streaming apps like Netflix or Google TV. It provides seamless control, acting as a handy remote. A double-tap can pause and play a video, while a long-press can be configured to fast-forward through a lecture or record a quick video clip.

With the GT Trigger, Infinix redefines what shoulder buttons can do, elevating them from simple gaming tools to versatile controls for navigation, media playback, and instant task management.

From intense matches to daily hustles, the Infinix GT 30 is engineered for gamers who demand top-tier performance every day. Watch Aurora Gaming put the GT 30 to the test on the official Infinix Facebook page.
