SteelSeries Philippines recently launched its latest gaming headset, the Arctis Nova 5.

The brand is known for its wide range of peripherals for gamers, and its newest offering stands out with exciting features such as the Nova 5 Companion app.

Over 100+ Game-Specific Audio Profiles on the Nova 5 Companion App

One of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5’s key features is the accompanying mobile app, which houses over 100+ game-specific audio presets.

These profiles are meticulously crafted and custom-tailored to each game by various audiophiles, such as audio engineers, esports pros, and game developers. The app is quick and easy to use, allowing gamers to change their experience without leaving the game they are playing.

Some games included in the profiles are Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Minecraft. Final Fantasy XIV, Diablo IV, and others can also be found in the Nova 5 Companion App.

Key Features for an Immersive Audio Experience

Beyond its companion app, the Arctis Nova 5 has several key features that promise a dynamic and immersive gaming experience.

Through its custom-designed, rare-earth metal Neodymium Magnetic Drivers, users will have an ultra-detailed soundscape of crystal-clear highs, pinpoint mids, and deep bass.

Demonstrated during the launch was the Quick-Switch Wireless feature, which allows players to take incoming calls while gaming. This also allows them to switch from high-speed 2.4GHz to Bluetooth 5.3 with a button tap.

The Arctis Nova 5 also comes with a 60-hour battery life, and full charges can last up to eight hours for seven days. Fast charging is also included via USB-C, and users can get up to six hours in only 15 minutes.

A ClearCast 2.X Mic is built into the wireless headset, featuring a new high-bandwidth chipset supporting 32KHz/16Bit audio and Sonar AI-Powered Noise Cancellation for clear and concise in-game communications.

Finally, the Arctis Nova 5 has a USB-C dongle that allows players to use the device on almost any gaming platform. It supports Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Nintendo Switch, handheld gaming devices like the ROG Ally, MSI Claw, and Legion Go, and phones and tablets that support USB-C.

“Innovation is key, and we use it to unlock the power of imagination and push boundaries to provide gamers with premium audio experiences. The introduction of the Arctis Nova 5 and Companion App, with over 100 audio presets, is literally ‘game-changing’ and provides users with an epic audio advantage for console gaming.” said Ehtisham Rabbani, SteelSeries CEO.

The price of the new SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 starts at Php 7,765, with the console (Xbox and PS5) versions costing Php 7,995. It is now available for purchase through the official website and select retailers, both online and offline.
