iPhone 17 accessories: A curated list

We go through several iPhone 17 accessories including cases, power banks, and wallets. Many of these are magsafe compatible which means you can also make them work on other compatible devices or compatible cases.

Casetify Cases (introducing the new Glaze Case!)

The new Glaze scratch and peel resistant cases

Casetify has released their Bounce Case, the new Glaze Case (the blue to yellow hues), and Impact Case (sticker prints) for the iPhone 17 series. Pictured here are the ones that fit the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The Bounce Case (P4,290) can be customized with text for up to 8 characters. This is the orange case with the four protective bumpers in the corners. This makes for a great canvas to personalize and customize with stickers and other doodads. The Glaze cases (P3,790) are mostly pattern or swatch designs that are printed underneath a “glaze” layer. This is for people who complain about their case designs getting scratched. The new glaze cases from Casetify are scratch free and will never peel.

For maximum protection, the Impact cases have strong impact resistant bumpers on the side of the phone that can be customized as either dark or clear. They grip stronger, almost sticky, and perfect for those with funny fingers and tend to drop things.

Apple MagSafe and Cygnett Magnetic Clear Case

Two cases I’ve seen being sold at Power Mac Center are the Apple-branded clear case w/ MagSafe (P3,390) and the Cygnett Magnetic Clear Case for iPhone (P1,295.00). The main advantage of the Apple case is that it’s OC-friendly, reprinting the Apple logo on the center of the case. Other cases, including Cygnett don’t align the magnetic guide with the logo, and this is really by design. I personally prefer Cygnett because of the anti-yellowing treatment and the fact that it is also anti-slip. The Apple case is a tad too slippery for my hands.

45W Powerplus Dual Port GaN Charger + Armoured USB-C cables

The Cygnett Dual Port 45W GaN charger (P1,299) is a Philippines only exclusive item. Other countries are docked at 35W max but according to the local distributor, the 45W wall charger is here to meet several of the demands from the local markets, namely charging two devices simultaneously. The Armoured charging cables (P990 – P1,495) come in various colors and length.

UGREEN MagFlow 2-in-1 wireless charger and MagFlow 10000 mAh Power Bank

The UGREEN MagFlow (P 3,600) is an all-in-one charging solution especially if you have the complete triumvirate of Apple devices: it can charge your iPhone wirelessly via MagSafe, your Airpods, and also your Apple Watch via USB-C output. It’s small and handy and can fit in your pocket or laptop bag.

    The super dock!
    I mean, it’s quite strong!

The MagFlow 10000 mAh power bank (P2,899) made some great design choices with the use of the retractable USB-C cable as a lanyard. The MagSafe charger is also quite strong, allowing you to hold your phone from the lanyard itself.

    ENCORE Power Bank 10K

The Cygnett Power Bank 10K (P4,399) is for versatility. The perimiter is surrounded by a faux leather grip making it easier to grasp. The large LED screen makes it easier to read your levels, charging time and device temperatures. The charger comes with two USB-C in/out slots and one USB-A slot at 45W.

    Native Union Active Wallet Stand

The Active Wallet Stand (P1,990) is one of the best-made stands I’ve tried. This is because after many days of use, the hinge doesn’t collapse. In practice, I was able to fit my work ID, driver’s license, and two cards plus folded bills.

    Magslim Magnetic Wireless Powerbank 5K

The Magslim 10W wireless powerbank (P2,295) from Cygnett is a low profile wireless charging power bank weighing in at only 112 grams. It comes pre-charged out of the box with a total capacity of 5000 mAh.

    Magslim superiority!

Cygnett CeramicGuard Advanced Glass Screen Protector

The new iPhone 17 series already comes with an ultra-tough Ceramic Shield 2 screen. But it would do us no additional harm to still enforce it with a screen protector. On mine I have the CeramicGuard Advanced Glass Screen Protector (P1,295), only because it is easy to install by yourself.

So I forgot to take a photo of the “before” .. this is the aftermath of the endeavor with the applicator.

If you buy this accessory from Power Mac Center, you can opt to have an attendant install this for you at no extra charge.

AUKEY MagFusion 25W Qi2.2 Magnetic Charger

MagSafe compatible stands are a dime a dozen on Lazada and Shopee. But the one from AUKEY really stands out (USD $28.99) because it comes with a bottom suction grip so that you do not accidentally knock your phone over. The MagFusion comes with the upgraded Q2 version 2 which allows for faster wireless charging at 25W. I was able to find a local variant

    CHUAN MagSafe Leather Wallet

Here’s one of the best Lazada finds for the iPhone 17 Pro Max: a bigger MagSafe leather wallet (~ P250). Although it is a tri-fold, it cannot store bills. But it can comfortably store around 5 different cards. It may not make the best stand but at least it does provide some grip c/o the faux leather.

    Ultra-thin bumper case

After previewing the iPhone Air and the return of the 1st-party bumper case, I wondered why none exists for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. With the vapor chamber located around the perimeter of the phone, it would make sense to have a bumper case that would show off the amazing profile of the phone while still protecting your fingers from the heat. Well, I found one. This is by far the sexiest case I’ve seen for the iPhone 17 Pro Max and I found it in Lazada (~ P250).

    Wallet Case by Cygnett

    It’s tito time.

This is the ultimate tito case (P1,295). It’s for iPhone 17 Pro Max users that want to carry around just one thing in their pocket: it’s a wallet AND case combined. And when I say wallet, we mean a hefty one. Not low profile. This isn’t the most comfortable of cases as you’ll always have to flip it, halfway, to take photos or video, but it is the most convenient all-in-one solution. The cover makes for an additional layer of screen protection.
