ASUS Philippines has taken the wraps off the Vivobook S, a premium laptop line with built-in AI-powered productivity tools at an event last June 18 in Whitespace Manila in Makati City. The laptops are powered by the latest Snapdragon X, Intel Core, and AMD Ryzen processors with dedicated neural processing units (NPU). The laptops are built for seamless performance with an outstanding battery life of up to 32 hours of nonstop usage for power and productivity users. All Vivobook S laptops have 16GB of RAM.

The Vivobook S16 arrives in a premium and sleek finish, featuring a remarkably thin 1.59cm profile and a light 1.74kg chassis that is built to military standards. For a more immersive PC experience, the laptop has a 16-inch WQXGA 2.5K 16:10 display with a high 144Hz refresh rate, On the audio front, expect a cinematic audio experience with Snapdragon Sound and Dolby Atmos audio.

“We want to continue this [ASUS AI Laptop] legacy,” said Harrison Cheng, Business Development Manager of ASUS Philippines. Not only is ASUS one of the first brands to bring Copilot+ PCs in the Philippines, but it’s also the first brand to bring it to mainstream users. At the event, ASUS announced that it has captured 66% of the Copilot+ PC market share in the Philippines in Q1 of 2025.

The Vivobook S16 laptops come with a dedicated Copilot key for quickly accessing the laptop’s AI abilities. With just a keypress, users can quickly use features such real-time AI assistance, Click-to-Do for enhanced multitasking and Recall for smart timekeeping and file management. With the dedicated key, users can boost their efficiency while streamlining their workflows.

To add to the Copilot+ capabilities, the laptops are also equipped with the ASUS AI apps, a suite of dedicated AI tools such as the StoryCube which is an intelligent digital asset management app that can organize digital media from various sources. Other apps included are AI Noise Cancellation for clearer calls, AI Dimming & Lock for enhanced security and privacy, and MuseTree for AI-assisted image generation.

Enhancing the laptop’s security and privacy are several features such as a physical webcam privacy shield, ASUS Adaptive Lock, support for Windows Hello biometrics log-in, and a Microsoft Pluton security processor.

Expanding the Vivobook S lineup for 2025, ASUS is also releasing the Vivobook S14 14-inch laptop powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 CPU. Available in a Cool Silver color, it tips the scales at 1.39 kg with a thinness of 1.59 cm. The Intel-powered Vivobooks have a battery life of up to 20 hours.

With its blend of premium specifications, intelligent AI integrations, and competitive value, the ASUS Vivobook S16 and Vivobook S14 series stand as a compelling choice for consumers seeking powerful and efficient Copilot+ PCs for all their AI productivity needs.
