Chinese electronics giant TCL showcased its latest lineup of smart air conditioning systems at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) 2025 in Berlin, underscoring its bid to lead the “healthy air” segment in the global market.

The company introduced several models, including the TCL FreshIN C7, FreshIN 3.0, VoxIN, and SaveIN, alongside its multi-split and unitary systems. TCL said the new products reflect its focus on artificial intelligence-driven health, voice control, and energy-saving technologies.

The FreshIN 3.0, equipped with a quadruple purification filter and TVOC gas sensors, was among the highlights. It won the “AI Energy-saving Technology Gold Award” at the IFA Global Product Technology Innovation Awards for its ability to reduce odors, dryness, and dizziness while maintaining a near-silent 16 dB(A) noise level.

The VoxIN model, meanwhile, enables offline voice control, allowing users to issue commands without relying on internet connectivity. TCL also touted its SaveIN system, which uses upgraded chips and big data algorithms to cut energy use by up to 35 percent compared with standard inverter models.

With more consumers prioritizing wellness, TCL said it is positioning itself as a leader in redefining air conditioning beyond cooling, emphasizing cleaner indoor air and energy efficiency.

The company added that its products are now sold in over 160 markets, with production bases in China, Indonesia, and Brazil.

In 2024, TCL reported sales of more than 20 million air conditioners, with its FreshIN series ranking first globally in fresh air units. The company recently became an Olympic global partner and tapped Olympic champion Eileen Gu as brand endorser ahead of the 2026 Winter Games.
