Amid heavy rumors of the end-of-life (EOL) of the GeForce RTX 5060Ti and 5070Ti, ASUS denied the rumor in a public statement made yesterday, January 16.

“The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB have not been discontinued or designated as end-of-life (EOL). ASUS has no plans to stop selling these models,” the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer said.

ASUS also clarified in the statement that certain media groups may have received incomplete information from an ASUS representative regarding the products.

ASUS said that the worldwide memory shortage temporarily affected its production output and restocking cycles, leading to limited card availability in certain markets. “But this should not be interpreted as a production halt or product retirement,” ASUS added.

The Taiwanese company also said it will continue to support the two cards and is working closely with partners to stabilize supply and global memory demand.

NVIDIA also said in an article by German publication Hardwareluxx that they will continue to ship all GeForce Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) while working closely to mitigate the damage brought by the worldwide memory shortage.

“Demand for GeForce RTX GPUs is strong, and memory supply is constrained. We continue to ship all GeForce SKUs and are working closely with our suppliers to maximize memory availability,” NVIDIA said.
