Halo is one of those franchises I have always kept coming back to. I have played through Combat Evolved, followed Master Chief across the series, and experienced how Halo changed from one generation to the next. I know what the older games feel like, I know why longtime fans are attached to their slower pacing and distinct atmosphere, and I also know what it feels like to play Halo after growing up alongside much faster and more modern shooters.
